Hetal S. Dhagat, Associate

Hetal represents clients on a variety of environmental issues, including the siting and permitting of waste management facilities, advising clients regarding federal and state regulatory compliance matters, and litigating federal and state environmental issues. Prior to joining Anderson and Kreiger, Hetal was an associate at a New York law firm. Hetal's experience includes:

   
• Representing corporate clients in a complex CERCLA contribution claim and negotiating settlement agreements with numerous municipal defendants;   
• Advising private landfill owner on compliance with Clean Air Act requirements;   
• Obtaining proper state and local permits for a waste water treatment plant;   
• Serving as lead associate for breach of contract and fraud case;   
• Researching and advising clients on compliance and permitting issues regarding underground storage tanks;   
• Researching and advising clients on zoning matters with regard to a transfer station.
