David L. Wiener, Counsel
David Wiener represents developers, lenders, businesses, government agencies and educational institutions in the acquisition, sale, development, financing, and leasing of commercial real estate. David joined Anderson & Kreiger after nine years of practice at Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge, where he was one of only a handful of associates in Boston to be named in the 2007 edition of Chambers USA in the area of Real Estate. His experience includes:
- Representing the developer of a $500 million, mixed-use, multi-tiered condominium project in downtown Boston, containing 350 luxury residences, movie theater, luxury hotel, fitness center and 1,000-car commercial parking garage in drafting the condominium documents, preparing and negotiating sales documents and advising the client on all matters concerning the ongoing operation of the project;
- Representing the developer in the construction and ground leasing of an 81-room hotel in Boston's Back Bay to an operator/franchisee of national hotels;
- Serving as the legal representative of the American subsidiary of a foreign biotech company in the leasing of 85,000 square feet of office and laboratory space for its U.S. headquarters;
- Participating in the representation of the lead bank in the $160 million syndicated financing of a radio and television company;
- Representing the purchaser of a 40 acre summer camp on Cape Cod, Massachusetts and related business assets;
- Drafting RFP and construction documents for a $150 million 18-mile underground electrical transmission cable and related substations for a major utility company;
- Representing a nonprofit community-based lender in its financing of community development projects and affordable housing initiatives.
