Timothy J. (T.J.) Roskelley, Associate
T.J. Roskelley represents clients on a variety of energy and environmental issues, including the siting and permitting of complex energy projects, securing credits for renewable energy projects, and litigating project development issues. His experience includes:
- Advising the developer of the Northeast's first deepwater LNG port in its successful effort to obtain key air and water quality permits;
- Representing a multinational renewable energy company seeking Massachusetts renewable energy certificates from a New York-based project;
- Representing the developer of one of the region's largest smart growth, mixed-use projects;
- Counseling a non-profit organization seeking to develop a wind energy project in Massachusetts;
- Successfully defending two major airports in litigation brought by FBOs over federal grant assurance compliance;
- Representing a major airport in its negotiations with the EPA over the renewal of its storm water permit, and deicing controls;
- Advising airports across the country on compliance with federal aviation law;
- Before practicing law, T.J. worked as a project manager on air quality, energy and climate issues in New England and managed the nation's first forum on state and regional greenhouse gas credit trading;
- Beginning in September 2008, TJ will co-chair the Boston Bar Association's committee on Air Quality and Climate Control.
